I want to understand how the wold wide web works, together with the relationship between email addresses, servers etc.
I have a foolish concept of a post box, a post office in the sky, sorting offices without postmen, perhaps the old fashioned compressed-air tubes which shops used to pass the money around with.I would appreciate a pictorial solution so that I can understand what my wife is using words to tell me.
I am an engineer with a preference for multi-dimensional plans to aid my comprehension.
I hope you can help or point me in the right direction.
